This tuition is designed for plus-size people who have always wanted to try Yoga, but were afraid they couldn't do it because of their weight.

The Yoga routine can be performed easily, even by those who may be significantly overweight and who may not have exercised for a long time.

Yoga can offer overweight people many benefits:

  • Lowers cholesterol, blood pressure and heart rate
  • Stimulates the endocrine system balancing the hormones to counteract stress
  • Lessen the need for insulin in diabetics
  • Strengthen and toning the muscles

Regular Yoga practice helps everyone to be comfortable with their bodies and create a peaceful life.  

Yoga works on many levels putting you more in touch with your body, developing a deeper self - appreciation, which leads to increased self-esteem and self-respect.

Deep relaxation and weight-loss guided meditation

Breathing practices that help to remove toxins from the body and help to calm the mind.

Certain poses are adapted by using a chair or wall making the practice accessible and enjoyable for everyone regardless of their size or shape.   

From time to time Wendy runs this Weight Loss Programme as a Wellness Day Workshop.

Private Tuition

Kickstart your weight Loss Journey with a 6 week programme of weekly, 2 hour private tuition and support.

Your programme will include a weekly Weigh In; and a simple yet effective Yoga for weight loss programme of postures personalised to your specific needs.  All brought together in a beautiful, personalised easy to follow, pictorial manual of the poses covered in your own bespoke programme.  You will then to be able to continue your yoga practice at home.

The session also includes the Deep relaxation and Guided meditation for weight loss and positive self-image as well as the breathing practices that help remove toxins from the body and help to calm the mind.

You will also receive nutritional advice, weight loss tips, recipes and ongoing personal support from Wendy throughout your programme.
